Alongside the feature work this month, we ran a pass of quality-of-life improvements across the platform. These are not new capabilities - they are existing capabilities working better, loading faster, and getting out of your way.
What Changed
Load times. Several tool panels that were slow to initialize on first open now load noticeably faster. This is most visible in the audio tools and generation history panels.
Layout consistency. A number of places where panels were slightly misaligned, padded inconsistently, or sized differently across tools have been standardized. The platform feels more cohesive as a result.
Responsive behavior. Tool sidebars and settings panels now handle narrower browser window widths better. If you work in a split-screen setup or a smaller window, the controls stay accessible without overlapping.
Interaction feedback. Several small interaction gaps - buttons that did not show a clear active state, dropdowns that did not close cleanly, panels that did not reflect changes immediately - have been corrected.
Generation settings persistence. Settings you configure in a session now persist correctly when you come back to the same session. Fewer cases where you needed to re-set a parameter you already configured.
The Philosophy
Kolbo adds new models and capabilities frequently. This work runs in parallel - making sure that as the platform grows, it does not accumulate interaction debt. A platform with 100 tools that all work cleanly is better than one where the newest tools are polished and the older ones are rough.
