A Dedicated Review Section
There is now a Review section inside Kolbo at app.kolbo.ai/review. Upload any video, image, or audio file for client review. Organise assets by version: v1, v2, v3. Each asset carries a status that moves through a defined workflow:
In Progress - you are still working on it
Needs Review - sent to the client
Approved - done, ship it
Changes Requested - client has notes, back to you
No more "which version did they comment on?" - the status and version number are pinned to the asset.
Guest Review Links
Send a link. The client opens it in a browser. They type their name. They review.
No account. No signup. No app to download. No Kolbo subscription required on their side. Clients can leave comments, reply to threads, and formally approve or request changes - all from a link you sent them in 10 seconds.

Comments on Every Asset Across the Whole App
Comments are not locked inside the Review section. Every asset anywhere in Kolbo - a video you generated, an image from the canvas, a music track from Audio Studio - now has a comment thread.
What those comments can do:
- Pinned to the exact second of a video. Click a comment and jump straight to that moment.
- Draw-on-frame annotations. Circle the thing. Underline the text. Mark the exact pixel you mean.
- Voice memos. Record a quick audio note instead of typing.
- Range comments. Pin a note to a specific time range, not just a single frame.
- @mentions. Tag a teammate and they get notified immediately.
- Emoji reactions. Quick acknowledgement without a full reply.
- Resolve workflow. Mark a comment thread as resolved once the change is made. Keep the thread clean.
Live Team Collaboration
Teammates working on the same shared project see each other live:
- Live cursors on shared canvases so you can see exactly where someone else is working.

The Workflow in One Paragraph
You finish a video in Kolbo. You upload it to Review, mark it as Needs Review, and copy the guest link. The client opens the link, watches the video, drops a comment at 0:23 with a voice memo explaining what they want changed, and clicks Request Changes. You see the notification, open the timeline comment, make the edit in Kolbo, upload v2, and mark it Needs Review again. They approve. The job is done - and the entire paper trail lives in one place.
